Mrs. Acevedo obtained her Magna Cum Laude Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and her Cum Laude Juris Doctor Degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University College of Law, in Orlando, Florida.

During her law school years, she participated in the Mediation and Arbitration Pro Bono Program, where she handled different settlement negotiations and was a member of the Puerto Rican Law Review, where she published a law review article on Constitutional Law and the right to vote. Prior to completing her Juris Doctor, Mrs. Acevedo worked as a Legal Assistant for a law firm in Orlando, Florida, and is also a former legal intern of Orlando Police Department Legal Advisors Office, where she gained broad experience in trial preparation, forfeiture cases, and litigation.

Before joining our firm, Mrs. Acevedo worked with matters related to Title III of PROMESA, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO Act), and complex commercial litigation. Mrs. Acevedo currently handles civil litigation, commercial litigation and collaborates with the Firm’s labor practice.

Mrs. Acevedo joined Reichard & Escalera, LLC in 2019 as part of the Litigation Department and its Employment Practice Group. Mrs. Acevedo is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States District Court of Puerto Rico.
